Foliage:Fine prickly foliage 5-12 mm x 0.5-1 mm with 4 veins, often bent downwards.

General
Comments:

Low open spreading subshrub, stems ribbed, covered in short stiff hairs. Birds like the seeds and insects it attracts. Found in well drained clay soils in rocky areas of Eucalypt woodland and open forest with semi shade.

An attractive groundcover for drier shady gardens or planting under established trees. Tolerates dry periods once established. Prune annually.
