General
Comments:
Tufted perennial herb with a bulb-like tuber and fleshy roots. A cheery yellow lily for planting in drifts, amongst rocks or in cottage gardens. Generally dies back after flowering but can continue to grow and flower in moist conditions. Will often set seed and spread informally.
