Foliage:Leaves are up to 60 mm long and 6-35 mm wide and have a rough dark green upper surface, while the lower surface is covered with hairs and pale grey
Flowers:The pendent, tubular flowers are yellow-green with protruding stamens and appear from March-September. There is also a red flowering form
General
Comments:
A useful plant for dry shady positions. Provides food for nectar feeding birds such as the Eastern Spinebill. Tip prune after flowering to keep it bushy. Once established it can cope with a heavier prune.
