Foliage:Stiff bright green lance-shaped leaves with long spiny teeth, blade 2-15 cm long, stalk of equal length.
Flowers:Small pale blue egg-shaped to round flowerheads of small flowers on stalks 1-3 cm long, rising from base of tuft and from leaf axils, bracts from base of flowerhead longer than flowerhead. October-February
General
Comments:
Bog garden or container. Prostrate tufting perennial or short-lived herb. An interesting little plant for bog gardens and beside water areas, where the roots do not dry out.
