Foliage:Stiff, narrow prickly leaves to 12mm long x 3mm wide with a sharp pointed tip.
Flowers:Masses of white petalled flowers to 1cm wide along stems from October to March.
General
Comments:
A rigid and upright, dense or straggling prickly shrub. Very adaptable, hardy tolerating most soils and aspects. Cultivars are highly ornamental but very prone to attack by webbing caterpillars. Suitable for heavy shade. Suitable hedge or screen plants. Benefits from pruning. Good habitat plant. Frost tolerant.
