Foliage:Dark green oblong toothed leaves to 5cm long. Branchlets that are often armed with spines.
Flowers:Masses of fragrant tiny pale yellow-cream bell flowers, hanging along branches from September to November, followed by pale green to purple berries.
General
Comments:

A hardy variable shrub useful for lightly shaded sites and moist areas. Well drained soils, preferring moist sites. Plant growth varies depending on moisture levels. Frost and snow tolerant.

Beautiful fragrance. The berries are consumed by Cunningham's spiny-tailed skinks
