Foliage:Few narrow tapering leaves 2-25 cm x 0.5-1 mm.
Flowers:1-4 flowering stems to 20 cm long with 1 or 2 bright yellow star-like flowers. Pair of narrow bracts 2-18 mm long near the middle of the stem, July-September
General
Comments:
Tufted perennial herb with tiny corm less than 1cm long. Hairless. Plant en masse for effect in rockeries, pots or in grassy treed areas. Plants die down after flowering, regenerating after autumn rain.
