General
Comments:

Open tufted annual or biennial grass. Flowering stem erect or bent, nodes hairy. Moist to dry soils in lowland heaths and woodlands.

Ornamental grass. Grow amongst other herbs and grasses under trees or in rockeries. Short lived.
