Flowers:Clusters of cream to yellow ball-shaped flowerheads, massed along branches in leaf axils. Narrow, erect, curved pods with thickened margins, 4-9 cm x 3-5 mm, July-October
General
Comments:

Fast growing rounded to erect shrub with red, ribbed stems.  Provides fast colour in the garden while slower plants grow. About 5 years useful life span. Quick screen. Adaptable to most garden conditions. Pruning beneficial.  Birds are attracted to the seeds and the insects it attracts.
