General Comments: | Erect unbranched woolly-hairy perennial herb spreading from underground stems. Matting plant for cottage gardens, borders, rockeries. Drift under established trees. Plants die back each year after flowering. When it starts to look a bity straggly, prune off two thirds of each stem and it will grow back within weeks. Frost tolerant. Both food for caterpillars and nectar for butterflies. |
