Foliage:Round bluish juvenile leaves to 11 cm x 10 cm. Long shiny green adult leaves 10-20 cm x 1.5-3 cm.
Flowers:7-flowered, cream stalkless egg-shaped buds with conical caps emanating from broad flattened stalk. Cup-shaped fruit with 3 inserted valves. March-August
General
Comments:

Fast growing small to medium tree with a crooked trunk. Light coloured, coarse rough bark over the entire tree. Medium-sized shade tree. Can be coppiced.

Koala food plant. Food plant for caterpillars, birds like it for food and habitat.
