Flowers:1-3 yellow flowers to 15 mm wide, 5-7 narrowly oval petals, on erect flowering stalk held above leaves. Fruit a round head, warty, beak on each fruit slender and reflexed under at the tip. September-January

Comments:
Perennial herb rooting at nodes. Frog habitat. Plant beside wet areas or in shallow water. Frost tolerant. vigorous plant that will spread rapidly via rhizomes.
